V13
I don’t know about you – but the first few Dell Vostros that came out just screamed “cheap” in too many ways. This year, Dell did a lot to freshen them up and get the build-quality up and now they’ve even made one (somewhat) desirable!
The new V13 looks to have some styling cues from the previous-generation Adamo (did anyone buy one of those?) with it’s extra “notch” in the back, but overall it is a good-looking, decently spec’d lightweight laptop. No optical drive, but you can get up to a Core2Duo, 4 gigs DDR3, and Ubuntu up to Windows 7. Not bad… not bad at all!
